Will I need to bring cash to my appointment?

All Status appointments require a valid credit card on file for payment. As the only form of payment, there is no need for additional money at the time of appointment, unless you prefer to tip with cash. At the conclusion of your haircut, you will receive a notification to add a tip and leave a rating for your barber. If you ever experience any issues, please contact us at support@statuscorp.com.

What happens if I am late to my appointment?

We value both your time and the barber’s time. It’s part of our commitment to reduce each customer’s wait in the barbershop. If you are 10 minutes late you will have to make a new appointment at a different location or a later time. You will also be charged for your appointment to compensate the barber for their lost time.

When should I arrive at the barbershop for my appointment?

Approximately 10 -15 minutes in advance would be a safe rule of thumb to insure that you are able to get into the chair as close to your appointment time as possible.

How do I make a child appointment?

You can set an appointment for yourself and one child at a time in Status. The app will set the appointment for your time selected, and clear multiple time slots to account for both you and your child. If you need to make an appointment just for your child, select “kid’s cut” from the options on the menu when setting your appointment. If you need to make additional child appointments, those will have to be made and confirmed separately.

How far in advance can I schedule appointments?

You can schedule up to 4 appointments at a time. If one appointment is missed, our system will automatically release all other pre-scheduled dates. 

How far in advance can I schedule appointments?

You are able to schedule  4 appointments ahead of schedule. If you miss one appointment our system will automatically release all other pre-scheduled dates. When that happens you will have to go back in and select the appointment times again.

Where are my existing appointments?

Click on the menu (three bars in the top left corner of the application) and you will see the appointments tab. All existing appointments can be found there, and you can reschedule appointments from this tab.

Is there a fee for canceling an appointment?

You will only incur a fee if you cancel less than 4 hours prior to your appointment. 

Can I change or reschedule an appointment?

You may reschedule appointments. However we strongly advise that you do so 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the fee for your appointment time. If you reschedule less than 4 hours before your original appointment, you will be charged for the appointment to compensate the barber for their lost time.
